Hello all, I wanted to share my story in hopes to inspire poeple to lose weight. I was over weight since high school. I always hated the subject and I hated it when my skinny friends would say they were fat. I really hated that. It is like how could they look me in the face someone who can stand to drop a few pounds and say something like that. UGH!
Even though it was a sore subject for me I just ignored it and kept eating. I remember once when I was 25 or so my boyfriend at the time was filming me at some family get together. I was so upset after watching it and seeing how I looked to other people. Even with that I still did nothing to change.
Years later when I was in my 30's I decided enough was enough and I was going to do something about it. I was a single mom by this point. Needless to say I was broke! I couldn't afford to go to the gym, join a weight loss program, anything like that. I had to do it on my own. I love to do research so I decided to start researching diets and plans. I started talking to people about what they did to lose weight or what they were doing and so on. After I did a ton of research I created a weight loss plan for myself.
Well my plan was working! I started losing weight and it was great! I wasn't eating special foods or doing any special workout. I just designed a plan that worked. I lost 80 pounds in about 10 months. I was feeling great!
My friends were amazed at what I did. I started helping people around me drop the pounds too. It was like all the research I put in really paid off not only did I drop the pounds but so were my friends that followed what I did. Well not exactly what I did, since everyone is not the same I had to do a few things with the plan to suit the person using it.
Anyway, I have kept the weight off for over 2 years now. It has really changed my life! Before I would hide behind baggy clothes and feel bad about myself, now I share my story and help others change their lives. I now spend my days as a weight loss consultant. I love it! Who knew I could take my weight issues and turn it in to changing lives!
