how hard exercising is :(
I havent exercised for like 1.5 years.. due to pregnancy, and stuff like that.. now that my son is almost 10 months old I am back on track.. but today I died at the gym!!!!!!!!

I was on the treadmill for 55 minutes, and the speed was 5.2 and it said that I burned 80 calories. WTF! I was sweating like a pig!! and couldnt breathe...

Anyway, just wanted to say that how easy it is to gain weight, but damn it, how hard it is to burn 100 calories :(

I wouldn't trust the figures on the treadmill. Unless it is measuring your heart rate and taking into consideration your weight, age, and so forth, then there's no way to get a reading that is worth paying attention to.

Most people burn around 400 calories an hour doing moderate to intense cardio. That's an ESTIMATE, mind you, but tends to be about right for most people.

However, I wouldn't worry about how many calories you burn exercising. I'd make sure to eat healthily and let the exercise calories be a bonus.
