i cant seem to stay with a godd routine

hey

im currently 21 and a pretty small guy. 5'7" 125 obs i have been working out on and off due to back surgery for my college career now. i cant seem to get a good routine going. after my workouts i feel burn and there were a few work out spurts of about a month where i saw a very tiny change. can anyone please point me in the right direction to get on a good workout routine that will make me feel like im actually doing something. i just cant seem to put exercises together.

Im running out of time tonight, but there are some people on here who know strength training in and out. Post your routine so we can dissect it for you. I won't be around until tomorrow, but maybe one of the other guys/gals can help you out before then.
 
This is a good routine:

Day 1
Squat 3x8 (5x5)
Bench press 3x8 (5x5)
Barbell row 3x8 (5x5)

Day 2
Deadlift 3x8 (5x5)
Military press 3x8 (5x5)
Chin up 3x8 (5x5)

Eat shiploads of food.
 
i was on another post and saw that someone posted a website exrx.net and i found a bunch of exercises so now i can try to build some kind of real routine because i never really had a steady set of excercises before thanks for you help. and by the way i try to eat loads of food but when you are in college and live on campus and have to eat in the cafeteria due to limited funds and there is crap food its hard to eat tons of food but believe me i try.
