hypoglycemic diet

I have found out that I am hypoglycemic (no wonder I'm hungry all the time). So far I know that I should avoid simple sugars (*sniff* bye gummy bears) and alcohol (*sniff* bye beer). I'm wondering if anyone out there is also dealing with it. Any tips or advice?
 
I have hypoglycimia and so do many members of my family. For along time I didn't know how to deal with it but the best thing that I have found is to eat 5-6 small meals a day and stay away from food that can trigger the headaches. Food preservatives such as MSG (most chineese food) or sodium nitrates (hotdogs or packaged meat) should be avoided. But everyones reactions are different to different foods, so if you eat something then feel crappy the next day don't eat it again.
