Hydrostatic Weighing Question

I'm 21 years old, male, 6'4", about 195 lbs give or take a few. I try to stay in pretty good shape, lift weights four - five times a week for about two hours, run on the weekends, play a lot of sports, and maintain a reasonably good diet.

As part of a friend's research project, me and my housemates did some hydrostatic weighing tests and compared those body fat percentage with results with those found from calipers. Calipers say I'm at about 11%. However the hydrostatic weighing said I'm at 17.5%! Now I've heard several opinions on the matter, some say that the hydrostatic weighing can severally overestimate especially if you're tall because it doesn't account for enough of your residual lung volume. Others says that the hydrostatic weighing is the GOLDEN STANDARD. I'm just kind of looking for other people's experiences with hydrostatic weighing and if they got some suprising results.
