hurt my calf tonight

I was doing some HIIT on grass and walking back home, I got an intense pain in my left calf: in the back and dead center between my knee and ankle. It was so strong that I couldnt even move my leg or put pressure on it. After a while I was able recover a bit and walk home without a limp but the pain is still there.

So far I put some icy hot on it and did some stretches, any suggestions of what I should do? Thanks

I'm just checking because I never had something like that, or atleast not that intense
after sleeping on it, it pretty much went away so it likely was just a cramp
thanks

foam roller

This may be simplifying your problem, but do you use the foam roller? I put up on my video blog on how to use one because this is something many people need after running or jumping. This releases the knot in the muscle tissue and extends the muscle when you are finished doing heavy cardio.

Have a great day!

and even more than fixing it, is preventing it.

HYDRATION

calve cramps are almost always dehydration, OR- an electrolyte deficiency. If you are dringking an sweaating ALOt, you can get low on potassium, calcium, and sodium.
