Hey... I am 220lbs. and pretty much sick of it. I don't want to be super skinny just a lot healthier. I want to do it for me(first of all), my kiddies, and my husband( he says he loves me no matter what, but still). I wanna lose like 75 lbs. To be 145 lbs is a goal that feels so far out of my reach. It drives me crazy. I neeeeed motivation. I neeeeed to do this. I am tired of being, to put it bluntly, huge. This week I am buying a treadmill and gonna eat healthy..... oh yeah
 
get your husband to exercise with you. Help keep each other motivated. It'll also help with the healthy meals if you are both doing it instead of you doing all the work yourself

Former Aiea boy here. I can relate to feeling huge. Even in Hawaii where there were lots of bigger guys around, I felt giant.
Do you eat at home mostly or do you eat out a lot? Unfortunately, most of the "local kine grinds" are VERY unhealthy, so you're pretty much going to need to stay away from a lot of it.

Good luck on your journey. Think about starting a diary in the other forum... there are a lot of good folks there to help keep you motivated on track.
