Hows this diet?

Im trying to lose body fat and gain a six pack. Is this a good diet for accomplishing that? Feel free to give tips on what i should change.

9:00 a.m. - oatmeal

12:00 a.m. - turkey sandwich (with wholewheat bread) and bottle of water

2:00 p.m. - chicken w/ brown rice and bottle of water

5:00 p.m. - can tuna w/ 1/2 slice of wholewheat bread and bottle of water

8:00 p.m. - bottle of water

How many calories is that? It doesn't look like your eating enough and you'll certainly need more protein than that. You may want to add some veggies too. If you're cutting you'll also want to add a multi-vit.

My main criticisms:
#1 - not enough energy
#2 - first meal lacks protein
#3 - 1/2 a slice of bread?!

Haha, sit up are a great addition to any diet! :-D

Seriously though, for breakfast add some eggs/egg-whites.

For dinner, don't be afraid to up that bread to a whole slice or two. Carbs are good for you, and whole wheat bread has a lot of fiber (so a good chunk of the calories in them aren't being absorbed by your body).

Make sure you're getting a decent amount of calories per day - little enough to end up with a caloric defecit, but enough so you're not starving yourself.

Also, don't be afraid to mix it up from time to time. Variety is the spice of life, and your body appreciates a change of page (especially when it means that you're going to be getting nutrients you may be potentially missing out on with your current diet plan).

For example, I would add a LOT more vegetables.
