Good morning,

This is my first time to this site and I like what I see so far. My co-workers and I just ended our 1st "biggest losers" contest and I lost a grand total of seven pounds! Not much to start but at least it IS a start.

My motivation is still high and I believe this site will help keep it high. We are stating another phase of "biggest loser" and I know that it will keep me on track as well.

I've been losing the same five pounds for the last five years and decided that this year was going to be different. Even though my weight loss is not that significant, I have lost inches while excercising - treadmill, lift weights and recently started kickboxing!!
I look forward to meeting folks on this forum who can help keep me motivated and hopefully I can keep them motivated too!!

Thanks for the support. My co-workers and I have started a new phase of the "biggest losers". I put two lbs back on but am blaming it on "that time" lol lol. Hopefully, the contest here at work will also keep me motivated. We agreed on twelve weeks. I'm going to stay optimistic and if I eat healthy and keep up my exercise hope to lose at least 1-2 lbs per week. I'll update my ticker as time goes by!

Welcome! That is a great goal of 1 to 2 lbs a week. The slower you take it off the longer you will be able to keep it off. Have you started a meal plan? I don't really follow one to a tee but I try to keep track of the cals each day. With a little work you can do this. That 7 lbs will turn into 7 more and when you see that it will help keep you on track. Good Luck! Tina:seeya:
