Hello everyone, I'm new.

I'm 17 and I'd like to start loosing weight.. I'm 252 and I'd like to be 200. I hope to do this through exercise and I'd like to start as soon as possible..

I'd like to know how healthy is just Plain Oatmeal and Coffee? How much should I run?

I just need some tips on how to get started and keep it up

Exercise and watching your food go hand in hand for weight loss. Basically, you have to burn more calories in the day than you consume. Look on the nutritional information of the oatmeal and the coffee. How many calories do you usually consume? Does this fit in line with how man you should be eating?

These are important questions to ask yourself. Several of us here have found help getting started by using Sparkpeople.com or FitDay.com. If you would like extra guidance, I would recommend SparkPeople. Spark will tell you exactly what do to do get started.

Llamabean is correct. Though you may want to sign up with fitday.com or sparkpeople.org to track what you are eating and using.
Makes it a tad easier.
