I joined yesterday and thought you guys should know a little about me. Im 21 5'5 and 152lbs, about a year and a 1/2 ago i was 230lbs and decided i needed to lose weight. I was letting it take over my life, im still not comfortable being in public i feel all paranoid and im just tired of being uncomfortable with myself. I have a hard time working and finding a job because of how shy and uncomfortable i am with myself and that really needs to change, i need a job and i wanna live my life and get out more. I have been around 150lbs for months now and cant see to lose anymore, all the weight i have lost was without exercise so i hope throwing that in will help. Its good to have people for support and people i can relate too, Thanks!

I wish I had a magic answer for ya...but I don't

Your weight to height ratio doesn't seem terribly bad, but could be better.

Anyhow...welcome to WLF!

Thanks, It's definitely better then what is use to be lol but i will look good in a bathing suit and shorts one day! Pants all summer kinda sucks, loving the water and wont swim is even worse. Wish it was easier to get thinner thighs or atleast i wish losing the weight spread evenly lol.

great!

Congrats on your weight loss so far... How did you loose it, if not with any excercise? Also, you might want to start weight training and 20-30min of cardio 3X a week... This will help you break through your plateu and also tone you up! What is your diet looking like?

Congrats on your weight loss, you should be really proud of yourself for that!! Working out is going to play a huge role in your continued weight loss! Not only will a regular exercise routine help shed the last few pounds, it will also help you maintain your desired goal weight! :)

Don't wait to lose weight to start swimming and enjoying the water. Life is passing you by while you're waiting for the perfect body. Just find a suit that flatters you as much as possible...find a cute cover up for when you're not in the water and enjoy yourself.

Thanks everyone!

I lost it by counting calories, only thing that seemed to work best for me. Of course i had to cut out some food but i can still have pretty much whatever i want in moderation, most of the calories i cut out came from soda and that was atleast 1000 a day.

Right now im trying 1500 Calories, 187 Carbs & 93 Protein.

Do you suggest any cardio dvds? Having something to follow would be nice!
