Hey guys, just sayin' hi.
I'm a medical student just going in to clinicals, and I must say that there is almost nothing worse for your health than going to medical school. I have gone up and down about 30 pounds in the past 2 years in cycles of 6 months, just based on how much I need to study and how much time I have to exercise, and the my need to snack in order to stay awake during studying.
I've decided to change all that, and here's my plan:
- Workout with an aerobics video 20-30 minutes a day (I'm using Beachbody's Slim in 6 right now)
- Take the dog for a walk or walk the 2 miles into town instead of driving for a few groceries
- Train myself to drink water instead of snack while studying
Once I get to my target (which the only other time I've gotten to is via anorexia), I want to try to stay there not by dieting, but by eating smart and trying to stay at 30 mins per day of exercise.
So far, I've been at the plan for one week, and as ambitious as it sounds, I think I can keep up, as long as the weather cooperates.
:waves: just sayin' howdy.
