Howdy Doody!

Hi guys.
I'm vainglorious, 18, and trying not to balloon up eating in my Uni's caf. Yuck to cafeteria food!

I'm 5'9, 150lbs, and 22% body fat, and while this is healthy... well... my vanity is propelling me to trim off an extra five pounds. I just feel more confident and better about my body at a lighter weight.

I plan to eat 1200 - 1500 calories per day and strenth train three days a week. I walk everwhere, and until I can access my school's gym (in a week or two, hopefully), I won't be doing any cardio as I prefer jogging on the treadmill.

Comments and encouragement are met with love and miraculously calorie-free chocolate chip cookies!

Calorie-free cookies? You're my hero! Welcome here, and there's nothing at all wrong with wanting to be at your fittest/healthiest!

lol, sheesh 5lb has to be the smallest ive seen in a while. but still a good effort! Go for it!

Welcome to the forums

It is cool that we are all working towards getting fit and feeling good about our bodies, at all different levels, isn't it!

Welcome to the WLF! It sounds like you've got a great plan in place and I wish you all the best!

Cafeteria food is usually pretty unhealthy...I recommend dropping the meal plan as soon as it's not required and buying food on your own. Cheaper and yummier! Good luck!
