How to tone my stomache?

I am a 27 year old mother of 1, all my life I have weighed 100-120lbs. Currently I weigh 119lbs. 2 years ago I got my tubes tied and since then my body has gone through many changes, I am still very thin and I definately don't need to loose weight, but my stomache has gotten way out of shape, I have toothpicks for arms and legs, but I am getting a round and flabby bely.
Plus I work from 9-9 and before work it's getting kids ready for school, so time is an issue.
What can I do to flatten my stomache again?

First order of business: forego your pride and paranoia and just get over yourself. It's good that you've decided a change is in order, but you can't expect everything else to stay the same. Here's what you can do about your stomach-

eat right, run, bike, swim, jump rope, box, join a gym, lift hard, and finally, feel good.

Look over the site for tips on diet, nutrition, and exercise. If you still have any questions after that, post again.

I am new here, and I one thing that I know works for building abs. I made an ab roller out of an old roller blade and a sawed off piece of one of my broken hockey sticks. I would start off with straight forward, left, straight forward, right>>> 1, and so on for 2 etc... So it was 4 moves combined for one. I did/ do 20 of them, but believe me it gets to hurting. Back when I first started I went from nothing to a six pack in 3-4 weeks (I did it everyday though)

Sorry, kind of lengthy... I swear by ab rollers. You can buy them or creatively make them. Eat healthy, and do aerobic exercise and you'll lose the tummy

lol jut realized I posted for women, but I am sure it will help. Also just doing easy ab work outs like crunches and sit ups will help you in the long run. Nothing happens over night

Its hard to believe about that ab roller...wheel....six-pack in that short of time with that thing. Its so unusual to hear a positive plug, most times products get terrible reviews from users. I actually have the regular thick wheel with the bar in the center, stashed somewhere. I might not get far with my cranky lower back..but maybe I should go dig it out of my closet anyways ;).

To reduce the belly fat, we need to reduce overall body fat. To do that:

1) Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. Each meal should be 3-4 hours apart. Each meal should contain one protein and one carb.

2) Drink lots of water :)

3) Rest properly. This means taking at least 24-48 hours between strength training the same muscles, and it also means getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Lastly, it means taking 1-2 days off from exercising per week.

4) Cardio. This should be done at different intensity levels and different session lengths. Consider doing a low intensity/long session, a high intensity/short session and a few medium intensity/medium length sessions.

5) Strength Training. Strength train each muscle 1-3 times per week. You should lift a proper weight and perform the proper amount of sets/reps for your strength training method.

All of the above things combined will result in fat loss. This takes dedication and persistance, but it is the only thing that will result n permanent fat loss. Of course I am completely assuming that you are not on any medications that have "weight gain" as a listed side affect. Many do!

You also work a lot and I am assuming are stressed out. Always running around, always rushed. Stress is a big factor in how we eat and how we feel. I'm sure if you got that under control and followed a great exercise and fitness program, you would see the results you want.

Good luck!
