How to lose the fat around my belly

I've been working out for awhile now and lost a pretty good amount of weight. I'm having a hard time losing the fat of my belly. I do alot of cardio and abdominal work. Is the belly the hardest part of the body to lose? What else can I do to blast the fat of my belly? How about running and how long do i run?

abdominal work

This won't make you lose belly fat, it will just strengthen/enlarge/tone your abdominal muscles.

For endurance runs, longer is better (you start REALLY burning fat after about 20 minutes of endurance cardio, so I recommend 40 - 45 minutes of it) or if you're short on time, look into intervals.

usually the first place to gain is the last to go. i'm living that right now.

you'll have to go further in your efforts also. what got you to this point will have to be added on to. ;)

i thought the thighs were the last place for fat to come off of,=...but i'm also going through that now, with my stomach..........

Thanks Fil. I tried running this morning. UHGGGG! I hate running, but I made myself do it. I ran for 15 minutes then i walked the rest. Do you have any other suggestions? Do you suppose any cardio will do? When you refer to intervals, do you mean cardio and weight training in the same workout? If so, can you do it everyday?

You should look into HIIT - check out the forum on this site for info. I also despise running but I really enjoy HIIT because it's so quick yet challenging.

The Firm complete aerobics and weight training is a mixture of aerobics and weight training in the same workout. Does that work for fat loss and muscle tone. If so, how many times a week should it be done?
