How much is too much?

I have been bulking since the 22nd of november, (I think that would be about 10 weeks) and I have gained about 9.5 pounds. I was just wondering if this was too quick of a bulk. My surplus is about a 500 increase. Just want some thoughts on the topic. Everything (meaning my lifts) have increased, and it doesnt seem like im getting fat, although my abs are diminishing (which i dont care about at the moment). I have a clean diet, rarely cheat, and keep it constant.

Is 1 pound per week too much?
 
No, 1lb per week is fine. Just don't gain more than a 1lb a week, otherwise its mostly fat.
Keep bulking until your satisfied, and think you gained enough muscle, or until your getting too large.
 
i have gained 9lb in 6 weeks also but have been taking 3 protein drinks a day and also my appetite has grown immensly all i seem to do is eat BUT, however i don't eat crap its fish, meat mostly and a little cheese i can see myself growing and i also feel my skin fat on stomach decreasing or am i just exagerating that
 
i've been buling for about three weeks and have gained about four pounds with, as nwng siad, huge gains in lifts. Bulking rocks!
