I'm just wondering how commited you lot are at sticking to an exercise plan, so please say how much you do a day.

i usually just do an hour of walking and then just anything else to get me moving. its been workin so far, at least 13 lbs since august!!!!

Well I've been changing it up so that my body doesn't get used to my exercises. I started on the treadmill for about a month, then I went to the stationary bike, now I'm onto the elliptical machine.

I TRY to get out for a brisk walk for an hour every day (I know we need a day of rest, but I need my fresh air!), and I do a workout video 3 times a week. It's either step aerobics (which is cardio) or one that targets all muscle areas by the time you're done.

Once the snow sets in, I plan to go to the "gym" twice a week to use the treadmill or elliptical trainer to get my cardio in.

I normally jog in front of the TV for half an hour to one hour everyday, and sometimes I use my dad's bullworker. It's supposed to be for building up muscle, but when I was practising for shot putt a few years ago I found that it helped alot, so I use it about every alternate day.
I'll start swimming too, once my exams get over.

60 minutes a day five days a week. Two of those days is spinning class. One is a body strengthening class. Two are 40 minutes cardio and weight traning.

Haha, mine's probably the worst...

I do two 100 cal workouts on the treadmil per dar... although I will probably increase this by 10 next week...

That's 200 cal lost a day, not much... but it's shred 2 lb already...

I just started working out, and I am doing 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill at a 5.0 incline at 3.7 speed, with doing 200 crunches and 30 v ups. Does anyone know if this routine will actually work, or should I try something else? I want to loose down to 190 by November 18 for my sons 4th b-day!

I try to go for cardio and weights each day of the week. every day 1/2 hr elliptical (medium-vigorous) then 1/2 hr for weights. i switch the weights up to let my muscles heal lower body one day upper body another ect...
