Hi, I'm a 19 year old male that is roughly 320 pounds and 175cm tall. My first goal is 200 pounds and then I may drop more from there.

How much can I drop weekly while minimizing the amount of loose skin I'll have when it's over?
Will building muscle help with covering loose skin?

Everywhere you look up on the internet is going to say "2lbs a week is safe".

It's hard to find a site or resource that will actually tell you how much you CAN lose per week. For instance, I can lose up to 8-10lbs a week easily, IF I'm carrying a lot of water weight. Once that's burned off, I've lost up to 5-7lbs a week in the beginning stages of being a person who needed to lose significant amounts of weight. Is some of it muscle? Maybe. Probably. I personally think the human body is capable of shedding 30lbs a month if extremely overweight and a significant lifestyle change is made.

Is it healthy? I can't say for sure. Common sense might say "no"......but then having 30lbs off your frame is hard to justify as unhealthy too isn't it?

A lot of factors come into play with this question and weight loss would vary for each individual.

Age, Weight, Body Fat, Body Type (Endomorph, Ectomorph or Mesomorph), sedentry level and type of eating plan and fitness regime will all determine the amount weight loss one can achieve per week.....only weekly body fat test will determine if the weight lost is fat or a combination of fat, muscle and water. Muscle weights a lot more than fat so a little muscle loss can be a huge drop on the scale.
