How many push ups can you do?

I can get about 45 or 50 just wondering how that compares to you guys i have been working on them i used to be able to only do about 30 or 35. I know that a push up is not a good test of strength and most of you guys train for muscle strength and not endurance but just wondering......
 
the most ive done is like 40 a long time ago, but now im a good deal stronger but also weigh more, ill try again soon, but man i hate pushups.
 
When I did my fitness testing to get into my program in June of 2004 I did 53 in under 1 min.Not bad for a chick I guess, and I had just had ab surgery a few days prior. Now I know I could do a lot more but I have never had a reason to check it out. My training varies, I train both strength and strength endurance. Both are suited to my job, so I cycle and hit things up a little differently depending on what the goal is at the moment.

Not bad for anyone quite frankly.

I did 60 in the christmas holidays, i'm not sure how many i cood do now though.
 
i can do 30 push ups with both hands so close that they are touching together
and 60 shoulder width hand spread

Ha well i assume it is regular with that body, just well impressed really thats some hot stuff.
 
I ususally don't do more than 50 at once. In a workout I'll do 200-250 (a mix of military, dive bombers,Hindu, and others)combined with 300-400 hindu squats as well as body rows, pull ups and core work.

I'm working up to 500 PUs and 1000 squats in a workout.
 
LOL yes regular style. All of us have to compete at the same level for it to be fair. I'm sure I can do much more than that now. I agree with that 100%. I figure just bc I'm female doesn't mean I have to be weak. It also helps when you have someone counting down the reps, the excitment in their voice gives you that extra push. Besides I have to compete with some big boys, and you know I can't let them beat me :D
 
i do like 3 sets of 22s , on the swiss ball **feet on the ball and pushup** lolz

and I do like 3 sets of 22s, having my feet on top of a table for instance and my hands on the ground, kinda like a slope ;]

haha. I'd say i can do alot in a day, i'm only 19, bl3h. its been a journey for me though, comin from 25% body fat to like 15% now. i'm still working my butt off, ^^
