How many Lbs have you lost this year?

I started in July and have lost 52 lbs. so far. I try to walk 6 or more miles a day and reduce my calories to 1000 a day because I am 65 and dont need but 1600 a day or at least that is what I started out at. I was 220 lbs in july this year and had stopped smoking last year and have reached 168 so far as of today. I am 5ft 4in so I need to be at about 140. I find looking in the mirror helps me keep on doing the things I need to do to reach my goal. I also buy new clothes that I dont think will fit and try them on every once in awhile till they do. I have lost 4 sizes in my jeans and 4 sizes in my shirts too. I know the year isnt over yet but we can always update our lost at the end of the year, looking back as to what we have done.
 
Weighed about 18 stones at the turn of the year.

Now I weigh about 11 stones.

What a mental ride it has been.
 
Keep up the good work Contona. I read your post and you are doing very good but sometimes you have to try other things to keep losing. I keep trying everything I think might work.
 
WOW Now the hard work begins. Watching your habits and making a new start in your life style. Eating healthy and exersing daily. I wish you well.
