How many carbs to cut?

Currently, I'm 5'7 149 and fairly lean. I just want to get rid of that bit of fat i have. In order to do this, how many carbs should i consume a day, or does it not matter? Regardless, I'm still eating 500 Calories less than maintenance and i lift weights 4 days a week and do HIIT 2-3 a week. I really want to have a lean look with low b/f. (It's a goal of mine)

Carbs make me feel bloated, so i assume stay away from those except for breakfast?

Not all carbs are the same. Simple carbs aren't going to help lose body fat but unprocessed complex stuff like rice is released slowly. Also as you are doing weights often, if you don't have enough carbs you're not really going to build any muscle which will also help reduce fat. It's kind of swings and roundabouts. But just remember, your body has a hard job processing the protein you need without some kind of carbs and training a lot without them could be counter productive.

If you're trying to lose weight via Atkins, you'll have to eliminate enough carbs to be in ketosis. This is where because of the lack of carbs your body uses fat as it's fuel source. You can by keto-stix which test for ketosis (urine test). I've found that if I stay around 20-50 it will measure on the stix. Much more than that and it won't.
