How long should it take to see changes?

I am currently working out 6 days a week. Here is my workout schedule
ALso, before each workout i do 10 to 20 min of cardio
Monday-Arms
Tuesday- Cardio and abs
wednesday- Back and shoulders
thursday- legs
friday- my break
saturday- chest and lats
sunday- Abs
My question is, with my current workout schedule, how long should it take to see changes? I am dieting and eating right, drinking lots of water and getting enough sleep. Also, does my workout schedule seem right? Should i change the days i do specific workouts or change some of the workouts in general? Thanks.

With a routine like that? a very very long time.

You need to get rid of that awful split routine, and incorporate the "Big" exercises into a Full body Routine.
if your goal is weight loss, then a Full Body routine is what you want.

Change your workout,

I have found that an upper lower split with compound exercises is most effective for me but you may be different.

can you give me an example here? I love being sore, and when i do total body workouts i dont get the soreness and satisfaction that i want. Shouldnt i not be working out a certain body part more than once a week? And no my goal is not fat loss

If your goal isn't weight loss then why are you dieting?

If you want to gain muscle then the thing I found most effective was eatting a ton of food and doing compounds like bench press, squats etc...

Also, being sore isn't a good thing, I was sore after most workouts in the first week or two but I never get sore now.

Soreness should not be the gauge of a good workout. I never get sore anymore, except the initial weak legs when walking down the stairs out of my gym.

Go fullbody.

Uh doesnt being sore mean your muscles are working and building? I need to clarify, i am not dieting, i am just eating healthy, my bad. And i have been lifting for 5 years, i give my workouts all i have 6 days a week and i always get sore.I dont see how its possible to do workouts very hard and not get sore? If you work your ass off, shouldnt you be getting sore? And can you please judge this as a workout schedule than?
Monday- Arms, legs, chest back shoulders
tues- abs and cardio
-wednesday- repeat of monday
thursday- abs and cardio
friday- my break
saturday- repeat of wed/mon
sunday- abs and cardio.
Sound good? Where are the flaws? I will always workout 6 days a week no matter what, so try and judge this system based on that info. Thanks

In regards to the sore debate going on here, for the first month or so I would be very sore for a few days after a hard workout. I am never sore the next day anymore. Whatever part I am working is completely exhausted after a workout but the next day theres no soreness.
