How Important is Sleep when loosing wieght

Ok, im not really slacking on sleep just have a really weird sleep schedule and was just curious if it's actually affecting me form loosing weight.

I wake up around 2AM and go to sleep around 5PM.. Once i wake up kinda just dick around for a bit grab a lil bite to eat.. then around 8AM do my workout.. Jog a mile at (6MPH) i try to increase my mile each day.. adding about .5 miles in each day.. then do 90situps then 45 Pushups..


Anyways main thing was.. Does this sleep schedule affect me at all?
 
I've read a lot of different articles, and probably posted a lot o them here, on how sleep, or lack there of, is a factor in weight loss... you're getting over 8 hours of sleep a night so it's not a factor in your case.. though your schedule is a little odd...

Why do you have such a strange schedule? Is that what you work?

I'd suggest reading the stickied threads around the forum for some ideas on hwo to make your workouts more effective...
 
Nope.. I work from 9AM-2PM.. Don't really know how i got on this odd schedule but been like this for couple weeks.. and just started to work out this tuesday.. But today i woke up at 5AM and went to bed around 11PM so im improving =)
