how i lose fat in thighs? very desperate please help....

I have been struggling really hard to lose fat in my thighs...I weigh 122 pounds....I have very small upper body. I lost all the weight except from my thighs...they are really out of shape....what should be the effective way to lose fat from my lower body..... is this genetic...will i be able to lose it anymore....i have been doing cardio (elliptical) exercises....but it doesn't seem to work at all......waiting for reply.....
 
Trust me I feel your pain! But you're not going to like the answer. You can't target weight loss, no matter what you read. You'll have to loose weight/body fat and it comes from where it wants. Now there are things you can do like walking and running that will help talk some inches off of your thighs, but it takes a whole body approach... at least that's what my trainer told me. Try power walking and running, that should help alot, but it's gonna take a reduction in body fat to decrease the size of those thighs.

Exercise will definitely help. Once you've lost the fat, if the muscle underneath isn't toned then it'll still look flabby. Now I'm sure there is a genetic factor, but I wouldn't let that deter you from trying. Best of luck to you!

I started exercising 5 times a week for 60 min (cardio).....Hopefully i will see good results......:)
