How does this work?

So my last weigh in was sept 29th i weighed 138.2lbs. I always weigh myself first thing in the morning after emptying my bladder and nude (might be tmi). Anyways so ive done horrible all week not watching what im eating, not excersizing, just eating anything i can get my hands on really (need to go grocery shoppin badly). Ive been really busy with the 3 kids and back to work fulltime. I work at a restaraunt so the 6hrs im there i am always on my feet walking around moving only get 10-30 mins of resting time for a break depending on how many hrs im working that day. So tonight at 10pm (out of curiosity to see how much ive gained) i jumped on the scale the same way i would if it was my weigh in day. And what do you know it says i weigh 137.4lbs. Now how do i eat crappy as can be but still weigh less? Ive watched what i have eaten, excersized and weighed myself at night before and ive always weighed MORE at night. Is it just water or what? I KNOW this isnt a true weigh in and its not gunna stay off. But im just curious cause i was so waiting to see 143lbs-145lbs thought for sure i would since i had such a bad hectic week.

You will probably have burnt alot at work and rushing around with your kids;and if you've been busy you're less likely to eat when you don't need to. You can lose weight with an intake that feels normal. It is good really if you can lose weight without thinking about what exactly you are eating etc too much because otherwise it can get quite obsessive. Weight does fluctuate a bit normally due to water weight and how recently you've had a bm etc but I don't think it is unlikely that you have lost fat.
 
your weight naturally will flux up\down to 2lbs per day depending on where it is in it's daily cycle. Totally natural.

Try to weigh yourself at the same time every day for more accurete results.
 
So I weighed myself again this am just like I do on my wiegh in day at the time I would on my weigh in day also. And it says I weigh 136.0lbs now. Now that makes me want to exercise and watch what it eat now since my weigh in day is monday. And I know my scale isn't broken since I got it about 4 months ago and put new fresh batteries in it a month ago. Even if I don't "really" weigh 136lbs it still makes me motivated to stay there. Aslo another thing I forogot to mention is I am breastfeeding my 8wk old. And I have been on the depo shot (birthcontrol) since I had her. And I know from my other experience with it that it makes you gain weight. But the shot will run out of my system around halloween actually. So maybe now that its getting low that its letting me get rid of those extra pounds I would have already gotten rid of through breastfeeding if I hadn't gotten the shot in the first place. I don't know just a thought.
