so first off I'm 5'11 and 205lbs and I'd like to get down to around 175 so I'm a bit chubby so I'm focusing more on the cardio side. I started to the gym a week ago and this is what I've been doing.
mon, tues, wed, fri, sat: I'll do 30 mins on the elliptical. in the evenings of those days I'll do 30 mins on the elliptical and on tuesday and thursday afternoons on top of the cardio whatever weight lifting routine the sailing team fitness trainer decides to have us do. I've also cut down on how much I eat and made an effort to eat healthier, I'm trying to stay arund 2000-2500 calories per day. I'd like to be dropping 1-2 pounds a week. does this sound realistic considering the amount I'm exercising and my calorie intake.
