Sorry if this has been asked already. I cant ever seem to find anything in the search.

I just read the post on the benefits of water but I want to know how much I personaly need. How do I calculate this?

Aim for about a gallon a day for females, 1.5 a day for males. After a little while you won't really need to try at it as you'll have developed a better sense for when you're thirsty.

there is a long thread on this already.. but what the real answer is - as much as you feel you need...

there are some formulas that say half your body weightin ounces...

the most accurate method I've seen is to monitor the color of your urine - unless you're on some medication or excessive B vitamins - your urine should be pale yellow to almost clear -anything darker than that you need to drink up..

:waits for steve to say he pee pees clear:

I already read the thread on why what is good and I did find a place that give you a rough estimate and I need to drink around 75 oz.

Thanks!

People are always making fun of me because I drink SO much water. I always have to pee because I guzzle it down. There was a restaurant I used to frequent, and every time they saw me come in, they brought me a pitcher of water and a straw as a joke (they eventually brought me a cup too.. but I still got my own pitcher!). I really don't like soda though, and I don't want to drink too much juice because it's so sugary. I drink some milk every day for the calcium though. :)

I don't think you can drink too much water.... can you?
