How do you pronounce HIIT?

Me and a friend have an argument over how to pronounce it...
I say it's pronounced identical to "hit".

So anyway, how do you pronounce it?

Also, the sticky is titled "HITT explained", so I think that needs to also be fixed up.

I reckon the double 'I' transforms the sound to that of a double 'E', therefore to prounounce it properly;

1) Use your best Mexican accent and say heeeeeet
2) Using your thumb, touch the tips of the two opposing fingers and wave them in front of your face like and Italian-American after tasting some verya tasty meatballs

This is the way it sounds in my head anyway
