Hello, hello! Please call me Reverend K. I am a content bachelorette in my 40's (soon to be 43). I am an interfaith minister and a chaplain.
I joined here for some moral support and friendly spirits and I'm looking for fellow adventurers to go on this journey we call fitness!
My motivations? To be around for friends, family and for those I minister to; to have something resembling the figure and energy level I had in my early 30's; to purchase clothes in the regular ladies departments; to feel better and improve my immune system;
My goal: I am currently down almost 50 lbs (yippeee!) and four sizes with 45 lbs more to go and I have the beginning of abs for the first time in over a decade! Happy? You bet I am!
How I'm doing it: I do a combo of cardio and weights; I watch what I eat and I don't let certain foods into the house; I walk everywhere I can; I get plenty of hydration and rest; I pray/meditate to quiet down and reduce stress (I'm high energy).
