How do I manage building muscle, maintaing (/gaining) weight, and running?

I'm new to FitnessWorld, so uhm, hi :)

I figure people here are a little more knowledgeable, and could help me more, than the responses I get to posts on Yahoo! Answers. I'll try and keep this short, but I could really use some help.

Around January I think, I started getting into diet/ exercise. I wanted to get smaller. Then, I was around 105-110lbs. I was working out very inefficiently about 6x a week (only 3 for the first bit). I cut out a lot of fat in my diet too. I progressed into making my workouts pretty hard while also eating 1200 calories a day. When I got down to 92lbs, I realized I needed to change things.

I've progressed to a point where I workout 5x a week for about 30 minutes and eat 1600 calories a day. At some point, I had been up to 95lbs, but I saw 93 on the scale this morning after not weighing myself for a while, and now I think I've been managing this all wrong.

My workouts usually go like this. I'll do one muscle group on a certain day, pick 5 or 6 moves, do about 15 reps of each and repeat that circuit 3x. Then, I'll do a 10 minute Pilates video (for that muscle group). It's a cool down, but at the same time it's still working out, so I like it.

About mid-september, cross country season starts. School lunch is at 11, and then practice is right after school at 3 (no time to eat). We usually do a mile warm up, then go run 5k. Sometimes we'll do sprints, or do a pyramid thing (run 200m, then 400, 600, 800, 600, 400, 200).

I don't want to lose all the muscle I have gained so far when I start running again. I'm seeing abs, and I actually have biceps :) I'm really liking it, but I know that running is really bad for trying to gain muscle. I'd want to be working out for 30mins max in the mornings, before school, for strength stuff (like my normal workouts) and then do XC after school.

So how do I manage all this? Up until XC starts, are my workouts okay? How many calories should I be eating/ how much protein? What about when the running starts? How do I make sure I don't get skinnier, but also don't gain a lot of weight?

Thanks for your help :) sorry this is so long
