How do i lose AROUND 10lbs in say one month?

okay I want to lose 5-10lbs in approximately one month.
Right now, I stand at 4'9 or so and I weigh 100/101(it always changes). I am 13yrs old.
But anyways, i want to go down to 90-95lbs so what should I do?
I am trying to eat healthy but mainly, I just want to lose pounds by doing excercises.

And one of my main goals is to lose fat in my thighs, hips, and calves. I really really want to fit really well in my old pants again!
 
You're 13 years old. Those "old pants" you have won't fit you no matter how much fat you lose. Unless you want to get your flood attire ready for the rainy season.

And to burn fat, you're going to need muscle. Build it with weights and other various exercises. You're pretty young, so just run around and exercise. You don't really need a routine...just do activities.

okay that's good...i play a lot of sports already so i'll just continue. and i want the goal by one month cause my birthday's in one month =) and also christmas is in one month!!!!!!!!!
 
Join your schools track team. cross country or somthing. youll get whipped into shape. for how young you are you wouldnt really want to diet too much or anything because you need to grow. dont be afraid to eat, just eat better foods at intervals through the day. like dont not eat all day then have pizza at the end of the day. just snack on good foods all day long.
 
at your age you are growing a lot - so as long as you are taking plaenty of exercise - running around doing sports etc you should be fine. Eat the right foods but listen to your body. At that age you need the energy to grow so listen to your body - when your hungry it means your body needs some energy, so eat. just avoid the junk. when i was your age i was in great shape - cause I didnt drive - i had to bike everywhere - and i played sport every minute I could. dont worry so much about the scales - try and just feel good. sometimes at your age you can go through phases of being a lil puppy fatty and then grow and thin out naturally.

ahahaha i eat so much...but i mostly try to eat healthy stuff so i guess it's'all good. =) i'm also going to start running on the treadmill at my house.

and a question....do you lose fat by sweating? because i usually sweat a lot after i play really rough or hard at sports.
 
No, sweat is a function of the body to release heat energy. You'll sweat if it's a hot day, but does that mean you're losing fat? Don't make that logical mistake to connect the two. The only way you're going to lose a lot of fat is exercise and diet.

Lol, it's your birthday in one month, and you want to look good under those clothes, so does that mean you plan on parading in your birthday suit?
 
...damnit. I'm 3 years older than you, a guy, and I only weight about 15 lbs more than you. :rolleyes:

Anyways, who cares. Weight is a number, it's all about how you look and feel.

ahahha you make me feel heavy but yeah i'll keep playing sports and i'll tell you when anything has changed =)
