How can i lose inches?

I am now eating healthily and exercising daily.

The scales have moved down the way but if anyone can help me with this question please do.

What is a healthy way of losing inches per week (especially thighs) and are there any exercises you recommend?

There is no way to target fat losses on specific parts of the body, we just don't get that choice.

Measuring success by inches lost rather than by pounds lost can be a very smart thing, especially if you are weight training, since muscle is more weight dense than fat. Therefore, when building muscle, the scale may not go down much, but you are thinner than before.

If you are losing weight, then you are most likely going to show smaller measurements. Have you had your measurements taken so you have a base to go by?

I would also recommend keeping a journal of your nutrition and training. This way you will be able to see all the variables at play when it comes to losing inches. The journals don't have to be anything fancy or perfectly exact. Usually it is just a matter of changing small details to cause dramatic effects.
 
Lose Inches

Sadly true i suppose. :(

I have been writing down everything i eat since Monday 07/08/06 and i can write down the exercise i am doing as well. The only problem is that i dont know what to do with this info once i have it all, i don't know if i am eating properly or if the exercise is correct, i suppose only time will tell.
I am eating a lot less than what i did and i am trying to eat more fruit and veg.

I am really starting to panic now, I get so self conscious on holiday and I don’t want it to ruin it.

If there is anything you can recommend I would appreciate it.
