Hot Yoga-first time

So, next week, I am going to a hot Yoga class for the first time. I'm really nervous. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions? I know you aren't supposed to eat about three hours before, and you should try to nap beforehand. And, obviously, drink a lot of water. Any other tips? Also, what should I wear? Where can I get good yoga clothes, yoga mats? Thanks :)

Teemik, this post seems a bit old but just in case you check it:

1. You can eat 1 hour prior. Just eat light like fruit or a smoothie.
2. Prana and Lululemon have some good clothes. Just let the person who is helping you know that you are going to be drenched. But Prana makes clothes for yoga enthusiasts and hikers so they are versatile.
3. Focus on your breathing, this is very important. Stay calm and try to keep your breath movement at a nice slow pace.
4. Focus on the mirror in front of you and on one point! If your eyes and mind start to wander, then go back to that one point. This is the hard part, keeping your mind from wandering.
