Honest Facts looking for Honest Suggestions

Hey,

I am just looking for some good suggestions as I am looking to increase my fitness endurance. Appreciate the read.

I am 30, 6'1'', 195lbs. I have been athletically active all my life and basketball is my sport. I play two to three times a week. Tuesday is a not intensive, short courts and maybe and hour to two hours of light playing. Wednesdays and Thursdays are high intensive, playing for 40 minutes or so against guys my age or five to eight years younger. Wed/Thur, I am running out of breath all the time, especially after quick my energy is used...my endurance sucks.

I have a spin bike that I got about two months ago and I get on it about two to three times a week at 30 mins with a few high intensity pushes throughout, however I know I want to do it more

Diet. I eat a lot of Asian food. Girlfriend provides a lot of rally good Asian food but we also eat a lot, however I try and stay away from all breads, burgers and super fatty foods. We eat a lot of rice and ramen at home when we don't feel like going out.

I don't smoke, nor have I ever.
I drink beers and spirits between Thursdays and Saturdays (Sundays during football season).

GOAL: I want my endurance back. I know when you get 30, everything goes down hill or slows down. I want to get my endurance back up and I know with a lot of changes of what I have said above, I believe that can happen. I honestly think it is the drinking that has put me where I am now. I am looking for just some honest suggestions from here because I look forward to using the suggestions given in my life!
