No additives, no colouring, only natural ingredients because you make them.
Now don't pull a face, I use dates and figs and you might think yukky but they taste real good in the bars.
What you do is melt the figs and dates on low heat, remember no pits. Once melted the dates and figs get really sticky which is ideal to bind the bars together, add whatever you like. I add dried apricots, all sorts of nuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. make sure you gring the nutes and seeds to a crunchable size. Mix it up with the melted dates and figs and then spread over grease proof paper and pu tin the fridge to harden.
After about half an hour take the tray ou tof the fridge and cut into bars.
These bars are great and a great energy booster and the plus point is it really cleanses your system out especially your colon if you know what I mean....
