Hey guys,

This is my first time doing anything like this, im really hoping it will help me get that motivation i need to lose weight! I have always struggled to maintain a happy weight. Im currently 175 lbs. Which is 12 and a half stone i would like to get to 147 lbs. Tbh its not so much the weight its how i like im currently a uk size 12-14 US 8-10 i think.
Im going to start by cutting all the rubbish out of my diet and start excerising regualrly, any tips would be much appreciated.

Here are some pictures of me from this weekend.

You are beautiful! To be honest, you look fantastic at your current weight, but you will definitely be even more stunning (and probably more confident) when you shed the weight. Good luck!

I started my journey a few days ago and the beginning is always the hardest, but we CAN do this! :D

Aww thank you! Awww good luck with your journey! Yeah im really hoping i can do this, im doing it for me and no one else. I just want to be happier in my own skin!!

I agree ! The weight loss *looks* optional from what I can see. You look great BUT if you want to do it, DO IT ! :D

Don't do it too drastically! Changes you will make now must remain forever so you must INTEGRATE them to your lifestyle. As others said, it's your choice to lose weight even though you don't seem overweight!! If you can feel better with less weight, then go for it!

My advices:
-1% cottage cheese is a miracle food. Get some when you can. Also, oatmal is a miracle food. Have some rolled oatmeal that cooks in something like 30 minutes, not the minute-oatmeal. Minute oatmeal is crap!
-Don't go crazy over exercise. Find something you like and do it reasonnably. The major part of losing weight is in the nutrition and the goal is to find which food is satisfying but doesn't bill too much calories.
-Think of lean meats such as chicken, pork, and forget t-bones!
-Remember that fat is better than high glycemic index glucids. Fats, even though they have 9 calories per gram, will fill you up. High-GI glucids will fill you up for a little while, but will produce a boost of insulin which will then make your blood sugar level drop, and create cravings!!! Trust me on this one. Prefer peanut butter to caramilk.

Hope it helped :)

Thank you for that, It really has helped. Tbh i dont really like red meat so im going to find it easy to stick to the chicken, turkey and fish. So peanut butter is ok then? I heard that apple and peanut butter can be quite nice? x

Haha , i read that in a magazine and tried it last week. not as nice as it sounds. and now i have a jar of peanut butter in my cupboard which is trying to tempt me into buying bread!!

Also good luck on your weight loss! I started out the same weight in march. its easily doable:] x

Aww really? haha thats that snack out the window then! Aww thank you hunni, im excited. Just hope i can stay focused!! x

Ditto what the others said. You are already very good looking so I think you will look amazing when you've reached your goal. I didn't have much weight to lose either when I started my healthier lifestyle (I lost 24 pounds and only want to lose 2-4 more) and my best advice would be to eat small portions of food every few hours and to factor fruit or veggies in to all or most of those meals, as well as making sure you get a small quota of the other essentials (healthy fats like nuts, wholegrains like brown rice, protein etc). A little bit of exercise will of course help too :)

you ARE beautiful. and you can most definitely do it. eating/exercise?

ps. "if you want breakfast in bed tomorrow, sleep in the kitchen tonight" HAHA win. :)

Hey girl! You're gorgeous! Im sure once you start putting healthier food in your body you'll start feeling more confident in no time. You def don't have much to loose at all :)

I'm a huge peanut butter fan. I switched to natural organic pb a few years back. Took some getting used to but now I can't stand the other stuff. Also try pumpkin seed butter! Very tasty and healthier.

And I love peanut butter and apple!! Lol you gotta try it once!! Lol

Good luck...you're gonna do great :)

Heyy guys just a wee update! Not sure how much i've lost but i can defo feel a difference. Heres a wee pic from this weekend! And thank you for all the advice and support! x

You really are beautiful you don't have much to lose at all but i hope you reach your goal if it will make you feel better

Madge?

Hello Holly,
You look like a plus size supermodel. You need to read a small book or article on plus size dressing - the apricot skirt is a bit unflattering. If your bones are big and it's genetic nothing will change your size much ... unless you starve, get a haggard face, drink no water, and look like Madonna THE NAG about to collapse on the track daily. Just learn how to "drape" curves and bigger shapes ... basic "artistic" stuff.
Cheers,
SKYE :coolgleamA:

P.S. I see that your Scottish and they are kind of broad, big boned. I love Scots a LOT! Beautiful and earthy.
