Holiday eating

The holidays are a notorious time to overeat and indulge. Were probably still working off our Thanksgiving dinner. Food is the center of the social and family gatherings around Christmas time.

So, how do you plan to not damage your diet too much during the holidays? Particularly if you are trying to avoid the old routine of eating and gaining thinking you will get back on track on January 1st.

That's always a tough question.
But a few things can help.
A) munch on some veggies before you go to the big meal!
Stay away from the our-devours (or however it's spelled) are almost always high in fat.
B).. use common sense...
C) let your host know you're losing weight ahead of time, that way you won't have to feel awkward at the table because you're asking for small portions.
Good luck!
