Hi. My name is Chris, and I'm 16 years old. I was always in denial about my weight since I was about 10. People never really called my fat but I knew that I was bigger than all the rest of the kids. When we played tug-of-war my team always won, I used to just think that I was a strong kid and never really thought about my weight. My parent's had a rough patch in their marriage and my mom tried to comfort me with Little Debby cakes and a Coke everyday after school, and let's just say it comforted me...alittle too much. I registered to this site awhile back, and I never really thought to post here. I came here to get motivation, and let me tell you what this site is bursting at the seams with it :). When I first registered to this site I weighed approximately 210 pounds. Well, that may not seem THAT bad but i'm only 5'7" :p. I was so unhappy with my weight. I didn't really start dieting though. I cut out all the soft drinks and only drunk water. I have seemed to hit a plateau at the moment though currently stuck at 190. This summer I have went to the gym with my grandpa (he's in incredible shape believe it or not). I lifted weights but never thought about cardio. I know I have gained muscle weight and burned off SOME fat, but it doesn't show that on the scale. I'm about to start back school, and I will not have the time nor the means to get to the gym on a daily basis so I had to come up with someway to get some exercise... I immediately thought of home workout DVDs. Something I could do at home in the privacy of my own room, and still hopefully get a decent work out. I was at Wal-Mart and I was scanning through the DVDs when I saw this "Ten Minute Solution- BLAST OFF THE BELLY FAT" heh, if only it was that simple. I picked it up and put it in the buggy, and I also got Billy Blanks' Tae Bo FAT BLASTING CARDIO. Well, saturday I gave these two bad boys a rip and the 10 minute solution thing was ALRIGHT. The Billy Blanks' DVD got my heart racing. I couldn't keep up with them most of the time but dang it sure did get my heart beating. I also looked at "Walk Off The Pounds" so I was wondering if anyone here had tried that. Wow, I bet I bored you with most of this stuff. I plan on starting a diary so until then..happy pound losing :).
