Hi all, my name is Linzi, i'm in the uk and am looking for a bit of help and advice.
I've always weighted about 8 stone and very slim but a couple of years ago i shot up to about 11 and just can't shift it, its driving me mad, its not as if i have much to loose but its just not going, for the last 18 months I've been very strict with my diet, i eat 1000 calories a day after exercise, I keep a online food diary, i do karate, weights, and pilates and average about 2 hours of exercise 6 times a week, and my muscles are beginning to look fairly good, I'm quite short, only about 5.2" and being heavier really doesn't suit me,( i think if i was taller I'd learn to like and live with this extra weight) I quit smoking last year, and have slowly changed my foods to much healthier ones, i can't even remember what crisps and chocolate taste like! I do drink quite a lot of coffee, average about 8 cups a day (am going to cut that down) but i do also drink a lot of water, i'm sure i should be at my peak of health, i am wondering what i'm doing wrong, could it be a vitamin deficiency or something?
