Hi all,
I have been using a manual treadmill for about 2 weeks now. I have been doing 20 mins walking every second day which gets me a suprisingly drippy sweat, of which I havent had for years as I have done zero exercise for a long time. I would like to step if up a notch though and really get the beergut off asap and start developing a bit o' muscle and overall fitness.
I would just like to know if a manual treadmill is OK for a HIIT session? I tried it this morning just going for a good 70% sprint for 30 seconds then had 2 mins walk then repeated about 4 times before my legs went to jelly, just to get a bit of a feel for it.
That seemed OK but I would like to know if I will be wasting my time using this method (hopefully get to the 30 second sprint then 30 second walk in due course) and if anyone has a routine on a munual treadmill thats worked for them?
Thanks all.
Brown
