HIIT in the morning...eat or not?

I read in the sticky that you should eat before HIIT because it is a lot more intense and can make you dizzy. I haven't tried HIIT yet but I'm gonna try it next week. Right now I jogg for about 20-30 min, 3 times a week before I eat in the morning. Is there a reason not to do HIIT in a fasted state or is it just so there is a less of a chance to get dizzy. If I should eat before HIIT in the morning what would be a good thing to eat and how long after I eat can I start?

Thanks.

It is very important to eat something before doing any workout in the morning. When and how much you eat really depends on how your body reacts to exercise. Some people could eat something 30 minutes to working out and be fine and others must wait at least an hour or so before they can workout. I would recommend that you eat about an hour before you workout and I would eat some form of carbohydrate such as toast. You just need to find what doesnt upset your stomach in the morning and how much time you need before you workout. It is different for everyone. Play it safe the first few times. If you dont have much time in the morning to eat...grab a granola bar or something quick like that. Some people can workout without anything in their stomach, but with intense workouts, your body needs something for energy.

Good luck!
