HIIT for losing the "last" bodyfat

Hi there I have been doing cardio since January, I had great results with normal cardio workouts (running the same speed all the time) I lost a lot of weight because of that, so it really works !!)
However now that I am in a very good condition I don't seem to lose bodyfat anymore (I run at about 7 mph for an hour long) it does nothing to my body anymore.. but I still want to lose more fat.

Will HIIT help me lose some more bodyfat ? because cardio isn't really doing that anymore (I still burn like 1000 calories.. per cardio workout) but I just don't seem to lose bodyfat anymore.. so the main question is > will my body release more bodyfat with HIIT now that it used to normal cardio ?

Thanks a lot.

yes. HIIT is good because it ramps up your metabolism for a peroid of time after you finish it. plus its a good change of pace. your body may have adapted to your previous efforts to which you need to make changes to get the body to respond.

Hi there, after doing it for a few times.. I seem to lose weight again, however I can't believe that I lost almost 1 lbs in one day !? I drink more than a gallon of water each day so it can't be that I lose water. The electronic balance meter says that I lost muscle instead of fat ??? and when I was doing cardio it never changed those values..

Anyone got an explanation maybe ?

Yeah, you won't weigh the same all day. You have to take into account that you eat throughout the day, drink, and all of the other things that you do.

Just a word of advice, don't do HIIT for more than 30 minutes because it could have the opposite effect.

The key to constant progress is constant change. Even cutting your runs down to 30 minutes but upping the intensity can push you through a plateau. Just keep changing it up.

hey well I lost 2 lbs .. since last week , I always checked my weight in the morning after I gave the toilet a visit.
I drank like 1.5 gallon each day, so I'm not sure anymore that it's just a normal fluctuation.

Well, if you can resist it, don't check your weight every day. It will be more pleasuring to see it after a hard week of working out.
