well, i've just decided to join these blog things in order to keep me motivated, find some people who can help me reach my goals and are good to chat to :)

Basically, i've hit a platau. For a while i went though a phase of easily losing 2 kg, but then it being put on for various reasons such as losing motivation and now i've stayed motibated for about 5 weeks, but have lost absolutely nothing! :cuss:

Anyone got any tips on how i can break though this platau?

:blush5:

I know the feeling!! I lost 23 pounds easy but now its getting harder for it to go away :( so I decided it was time to add in more exercise, maybe that'll help you to jumpstart the loss again?

I'm new too, welcome! There are tons of supportive people here, which I use as motivation :)
Good Luck!!

yeahh i reckon this site will really help :)
been trying to fit in swimming but with school and my job i always seem to be either too tired/not have enough time so will have to try and make time in my evenings and weekends to do excersisee

I guess it depends how big you were when you started off and how big you are now.

Without knowing your weight/height etc it's difficult to know. It's easier to lose weight the heavier you are. Once you get closer to your goals it becomes difficult.

Hi Cantona, yeah forgot to put that on. well i'm 5'1 and weigh 60 kilos (132lbs). My goal is 55kgs (122lbs) by new year, then progress on to being 118lbs eventually :blush5:

and also well done on your weight loss so far as well! only 11lbs go :)

Aye, speaking from experience; the last bit is the hardest! In my experience you get complacent. Thanks by the way.

We appear to be a similar level in terms of BMI. Not overweight so it makes it much more difficult.

Add more to your Cardio workout, the longer you do, the more fat you'll burn, also keep an eye on your daily nutrition.

yeahh working at losing weight whilst not "overweight" is hard!
did 30 mins of swimming today :) and am thinking about doing swimming or elliptical machine every sunday and monday and then go jogging on wednesdays? reckon this will be enough?

although, weighed myself this morning and realised that when i look at the kgs measurement, it's still about 60 (the line is thicker for numbers 10, 20, 30...) but if i look at the lbs i think i've actually lost 2! (you can see the difference as the lines are thinner for individual lbs) either that or i was somehow lighter this morning will measure again tomorrow :)
