High School weight question

Hi have a question that may be stupid, or maybe not. Ok.

I wrestled my freshmen year of high school in the 189 division. I weighed anywhere from 181 to 189 during that time. I was 14 years old.

I'm still the same height (5'8") as I was then, but should I expect to have the same body fat etc. when I get back down to that weight? That was 8 years ago and my body had to still be growing somewhat.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is will I be skinnier at 189 when I'm 22 years old vs. 189 when I was 14?

Assuming you've matured more than a 14 year old boy it would be safe to assume you would be a MUCH leaner 189 at 22 by comparison. By leaner I do not mean skinnier. I refer to the fact your body composition would have taken the typical male make-up of increased muscle mass and reduced body fat. Therefore, 189 at 14 yrs old will have a much different body composition that 189 at 22.

This of course is all VERY theoretical being that I honestly have no clue about your actual body composition. Skinny is such a loaded word.

Thanks for your response.

I agree, leaner was the world I was looking for/should have used. That does make sense even though I am still the same height.

Thanks!
