High or low reps for abs?

The title basically explains the question, to get nice abs, do i do high reps with little or no weights or low reps with lots of weight?

I dont want abs that stick way out, but i do want nice abs where all lines show.

And how do you get that cut right down the middle?

Getting your ab lines is more a question of diet. If you look at any anatomical chart, we all have abs. We look like that anatomical chart guy. What you have to do is burn the inch or 2 layer of fat above the abdominals to uncover them. If you want "strong" abs-do low reps with heavy loads.
If you want "abs that don't get tired" - do high reps (15-25 reps).
 
Thanx, what do u mean about abs that don't get tired?

Well atm im doing an ab machine at the gym, its weighted, works ur top abs, i do 4 sets of 10, then i do 2 sets of 30 crunches with 11lbs on my chest. Then i do x amount of decline weighted crunches and i finish off with reverse crunches.

Lol just thought i'd tell u :p
