I am a little confused on high intensity vs low intensity.

How can low intensity burn less calories yet burn more fat?

How can high intensity burn more calories yet burn less fat?

How much fat will be burnt in 60 min high intensity?

How much fat will be burnt in 60 min low intensity?

Don't worry about all that.

1) Calories for the entire day is what matters most, worry about that. The % of fat burned per exercise is a USELESS number.

2) High intensity is always better than low intensity when it comes to burning calories. Catch is not everyone is physically able to do high intensity to really hit the best optimal ways of burning calories. In the end, do whats best for you.
 
It's about the % of total calories burned rather than the absolute number of fat calories.

If you hypothetically sprint for an hour, you will burn more calories, and more fat calories. But as a percentage of total calories burned, your % fat burned might be lower than say if you walked.

Also, if you work out really high intensity and more of your calories are coming from carbs like glycogen stores in your liver, well all that is going to have to get replaced and that means those calories will not be used by you, and either way a greater caloric deficit means more weight loss, including more fat loss.

If you're able to work out at a high intensity, it will be better for you overall, both calorie wise as well as your health.
