Hey blueeyes, welcome to the forum

Can you tell us a bit more about yourself? What are your fitness goals? What are you currently doing for exercise?
 
i am currently competing in bodybuilding, it's my third year. i am a nsca certified personal trainer. i qualified for nationals this year so i might do a national show next year. i do plan on doing a triathlon next summer. i work fulltime for an airline so i stay very busy.
 
Wow you do sound busy! Congrats on doing so well with bodybuilding and good luck to you in the future!

I think you might be the first person that I've heard of that does bodybuilding AND is considering doing a triathlon. Are you worried about the different types of training conflicting with each other? How do you plan on getting around that?
 
i believe in overall fitness and don't like limiting myself to one thing. i will do the tri after my last contest when my bodyweight is down and my cardio conditioning is at it's best. i taught a plyometrics class prior to getting into bodybuilding and currently teaching water aerobics at our local ymca. what are your interests?
 
Well good luck in your training, I hope you do well in both types of competition.

I'm not much of a gym person myself... I tend to do more sports or outdoor activities like hiking, biking, skiing, etc. As for work, I deal mainly with chronic disease clients or post-accident patients (both tend to be populations that are fairly new to exercise).
