Hi

I smoke cigarettes, weigh about 160, and stand 6' tall. I'd like to kick the squares, get toned, learn a martial art, and improve my diet...I currently do 3 sets of 15 sit-ups a day, 2 sets of 15 push-ups, and 2 sets of 15 12lb curls. Sometimes I'll do dynamic tension, or laterals. And I stretch, as well as a bit of basic yoga.
I've tried to quit smoking so many times, but I know that all it is is just doing it. But it's too easy, say at work, to just bum smokes.
And it's too easy to eat crappy food.
Too easy to say "tommorow I'm really going to do it", and get discouraged when the smallest thing comes around.

I'm worried about becoming a fat old man, attached to an oxygen tank. So I've come here, to get some advice from people that are active and fit.
 
Welcome! Ask your doctor about a prescription called "Chantix." I have many friends who have been able to successfully quit smoking with this medication. Good luck, I hope to see you achieve all your goals!
