Hello,
I stumbled upon your forum last night and am looking forward to getting to know my way around. You guys have a massive board here!
I've always ridden the roller coaster with fitness, especially since I have been pregnant twice. I was doing well after the birth of my second child and had managed to go 9 lbs. below my prepregnancy weight. Then, some turmoil hit, and I slipped back. I know I have a solid base, and I'm looking to create some accountability for myself on these forums.
Throughout my first pregnancy and for a couple of years after, I weight trained w/ a trainer, swam, and had a good rhythm w/ some pretty intense workouts. Then, I moved more towards yoga and pilates mixed in w/ my cardio. I have a love/hate relationship with running.
I find I get a varied workout w/ the yoga and pilates and haven't really done any weight training per sé since I got into yoga. I'll still lift at the gym sometimes because I enjoy it.
See you soon!
Julie
