Hi!

hey, my name is derek, im 18 and out of shape. i went to the doctor a week ago for my asthma and she said my blood pressure was a little high (something like 138/86) and i needed to get more exercise. ive been working out twice a week for a month (taking a weight training class at my school) and i can see improvement already, im not really strong, and i dont want to get really big, just put some muscle on. im 6'2" and about 195 lbs (and according to my moms fancy scale, 16.5% body fat.) i dont know if thats good or not.

anyway, what can i do about my blood pressure, i dont wanna have a heart attack any time soon, so i really wanna work on that. im a full time student with an hour+ commute, so im limited to pb&j's and fast food, are there any other foods i could bring from home that are healthy and not a pita to make and dont taste like chalk?

a guy in my weight training class was talking about supplements he takes or people he knows takes and he mentioned noxplode (i think thats it anyway) and he said it doesnt really make you stronger directly, it just keeps you from getting fatigued as fast so you can lift more/longer. anyone heard of this and have anything to say about it?

thanks for reading all this!

Your blood pressure isnt that High your diastolic is fine your systolic is high you might have just been stresses or just eaten been smoking whatever, It could be a one off.

However if it was me I would cut down on the fast food and start exercsing both weights and cardio.
